A lot of fear comes from the meaning we attach to what happens. And the ego’s favorite meaning is this: “I’m alone.” Alone in my bills. Alone in my grief. Alone in my health stuff. Alone in my anxiety. Alone in a world that feels like it’s spinning off its hinges. Once you believe you’re separate, fear feels logical.
